Loretta Sarah Morgan

Loretta Sarah Morgan, 72, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at Charleston Area Medical Center. She was born August 17, 1944 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Abe I. and Lettie Sarah Oliver Morgan. Loretta was a homemaker.She was very loving and caring and welcomed any child that needed love into her home.She enjoyed crossword puzzles and daytime soap operas.Loretta was an excellent cook and enjoyed family fellowship. She is survived by two nieces whom she raised, Aretha R. Thomas (Anthony) of Parkersburg and Patricia F. Johnson (Steven) of Charleston, W.Va.; one brother, Cecil A. Morgan, of Marietta, Ohio; several great-nieces and nephews including Anthony P. Thomas, Jr., Christina M. Thomas, Kimberly Isaac and Kelsey, Kayla, Kandance, Kenneth and Kassidy Johnson;and several great-great-nieces and nephews, Jacob Thomas, Chloe Campbell, Leighton Campbell, Logan Thomas and Corbin Thomas. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Vaughan Funeral Home.
