Loretta Ruth Moore

Loretta Ruth Moore, 90, of Waverly, passed away January 22, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born July 7, 1930 in Coshocton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Homer and Nancy (Matheny) Shuman. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Waverly for many years. She was a loving Aunt and good neighbor. She enjoyed every one visiting and welcomed them in her home with open arms. Loretta was preceded in death by her Beloved husband, James Ed Moore of 58 years. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Muscati and Dorothy Colantoni and one brother Everett Shuman. She is survived by one sister, Juanita Nunn, of Eden, North Carolina. She has several nieces, nephews, and cousins, who have made her years happy with their visits and loving kindness. They were all so special to her and she loved them all very much. Thanks to her neighbors who were always there when she needed them with kind deeds. Her family wants to thank the girls that took care of her, she couldn’t have gotten more loving care. Thanks, Alli, Sierra, Mollie, Willma, Brittany, and Hunter; and thanks to Dr. Ryan Lowers for his diligent care. A private service will be held at the family’s convenience.
