Loretta Y. Eddy

Loretta Yuvonne Eddy, 75, of Walker, W.Va., passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1942 in Wirt County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Roscoe and Beulah Griffin Moncrief. Loretta was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Newark, W.Va.She enjoyed collecting dolls and gardening. Loretta is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald D. Eddy; two daughters, Tammy Eddy of Parkersburg and Connie Goodnight (Richard) of Walker; two sons David Eddy and Darren Eddy both of Walker; one sister, Sandra Feaster (Boyd) of Sterling, Va.; one brother, Ronnie Moncrief (Linda) of Pettyville, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Richard Goodnight and Dylan Goodnight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a sister, Nora Lou Florence. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Newark.Pastor Matt Hornbeck will officiate and interment will be in the Deem Family Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
