Linda Jean McFee Vaughan, 72, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1946 in the Cedar Hill community of Wirt County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Wilbur Ray and Mildred Grace Collins McFee. Linda had been a production clerk at DuPont and a cake decorating instructor for JCPenney for 25 years.She was a 45 year member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Preceptor Lambda chapter where she had perfect attendance until her health started to fail.Linda was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Parkersburg. She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Vaughan; two sons, Ronald L. Vaughan, Jr. and wife, Jill Roper, of Winchester, United Kingdom and Jeffrey A. Vaughan of Parkersburg; one sister, Neva Bumgarner and husband, Bruce, of Parkersburg; two brothers, Daniel McFee and wife, Linda, of Brunswick, Georgia and Charles McFee of Niceville, Fla.; one grandson, Maxwell R. Vaughan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Clark-Smith. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg with Rev. Michael Seely officiating.Services will conclude with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. with a Beta Sigma Phi Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. For those considering an expression of sympathy, memorials are preferred to First Presbyterian Church, Founders Trust, 1341 Juliana Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
