Lillian L. Mccale

Lillian L. McCale, 84, of Vienna, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at Eagle Pointe. She was born in Elizabeth, Wirt County a daughter of the late Delbert C. and Ethel L. Fought Daugherty. Mrs. McCale received a master's degree from Ohio University and taught school for thirty three years which included thirty one years in Belpre, Ohio and two years at Cedar Grove.She was a member of Wayside U.M. Church, Vienna and was a Daughter of the American Revolution, Blennerhassett Chapter.Mrs. McCale was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Order of the Amaranth, Royal Court No. 5, O.E.S., Vienna Chapter No. 151, and Daughter of the Nile. Survivors include one sister, Margaret Louise Morris of Vienna.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. McCale in 1992, one brother, Delbert C. Daugherty and an infant child Diana. Services with burial of cremated remains beside her husband in Sunset memory Gardens will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
