Larry Watson

Larry Watson, 76, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Parkersburg, WV, passed away January 18, 2016 at home after fighting a long battle with diabetes and heart disease.He was born in Parkersburg, April 17, 1939 to Helen and Harold Watson. Larry will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years Roan, son, Michael (Amy), grandchildren Brittany and Steven Watson, and 3 great grandchildren.Sister-in-law Joan Baker (Tom) of Parkersburg, Rodney Baker, nephew of Lafayette, LA. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Harold Watson. Larry graduated from Parkersburg High school, class of 1957. He worked for 23 years at Ames Company as a Warehouse Supervisor in the Distribution Center in Parkersburg.He also worked for 13 years at Union Tools as a Warehouse Supervisor in the Distribution Center in Columbus. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 1 PM, with Pastor Dobby Thrash officiating, and bural will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
