Kenneth Alvin Moore, 67, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Mr. Moore was born October 17, 1951 at Montgomery, W.Va., a son of Phylis A. Harler Moore of Parkersburg and the late Neuman Carl Moore. Mr. Moore served 10 years in the United States Army and 35 years with Tobyhanna Army Material Command where he was a Contracting Officer Representative.During this time, he served three tours in Iraq.He enjoyed and was extremely passionate about gaming, baseball, bowling and all West Virginia University sports. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Jocelyn Moore (Jeremiah) of Woodbridge, Va. and Jessica Key (Owen) of Norfolk, Va.; two sisters, Carol "Janie" Craigo of Beckley, W.Va. and Karen Moore of Teays Valley, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Nahealani Moore, Ilisia Ming, Damien Ming, Caleb and Dylan Key;two special nephews that were like sons, Carl Morris of Stafford, Va. and John Michael Moore of Charleston, W.Va.; and his loving niece, Suzanne Garner of Beckley, W.Va. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis "Dale" Moore. A Celebration of Life will be held at his home at a later date.The Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg is honored to serve the Moore Family.
