Kathleen V. Thomson

Kathleen Virginia (Johnston) Thomson, 85, of Parkersburg passed away December 16, 2017 at Wyngate Senior Living Community. She was born July 19, 1932 in Ravenswood WV to the late Nora Lavina Mckitrick Johnston Miller and Alva Johnston. She started working in high school at Kresge’s and after graduation was employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital until the birth of her 1st child. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, Murray Beaumont Thomson. She is survived by one son, Roderick (Coleen) Thomson of San Jose, CA, two daughters, Murrianna Thomson of Portland, OR, and Katrina (Emad) Al-kholaidi of Cary, NC, six grandchildren, Lianne Nichols, Aric Thomson, Akram Al-kholaidi, Abdulwaahid Al-kholaidi, Keegan Thomson and Mue tasim Al-kholaidi, two great grandchildren Zach and Bailey Nichols. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen South Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
