Johnnie L West

Johnnie Lawrence West, 65, of Parkersburg formerly of Belleville, WV passed away August 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1952 in Wood County, WV to the late Clinton and Elma Miller West. He was a Methodist by faith and was a painter for L&W Construction. He is survived by one step-son, Kevin “Doug” Epling of Parkersburg, a brother, Darrell West of Belleville, WV and a half-brother, Wayne (Heaven) Blessing of Parkersburg, WV, four sisters, Elma Stalnaker, Diane (Gordon) Milhoan both of Parkersburg, WV Rene (Mike) Butcher of Washington, WV and Connie (Gary) Backus of Parkersburg, WV, and a special friend, Margie Wright. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon West, one sister, Polly Tanner, and two brothers, Junior West and Pete West. Special thanks to caregivers, JoAnn Heck, Clara Kiddy and Devan Dunham. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg.
