John L. Weaver

John L. Weaver, 49, of Parkersburg was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 17, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His battle with Alpha1 Anti Trypsin deficiency is done.He was born December 10, 1969 in Parkersburg.He was the fifth child of Lois McMahan Weaver and the late Joy Weaver. He was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School.He was a former employee of Simonton Windows and formerly had worked as a Truck Driver for U. S. Express.He was a member of Trinity U. M. Church and enjoyed singing in the Choir and loved Fishing. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Lois Weaver, his brothers, Matt (Nancy) Weaver, O. D., and Jay Weaver, sisters, Shelia (Jeff) Naylor and Sheryl (Bill) Kirk all of Parkersburg, WV, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Sadie, who was his constant companion during his truck driving years. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Trinity U. M. Church, 10th and Thomas St., Parkersburg with Reverend Michael Daniels officiating.Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.Visitation will be on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV, and one hour prior to services at the church.
