Jo Ann Kyle

Jo Ann (Rogers) Kyle, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. She was born in Wood County on December 25, 1932, the daughter of the late Robert C. Rogers and Carolyn (Houck) Rogers. Jo Ann was a 1950 graduate of PHS. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired from the Wood County Board of Education with over 25 years of service. Jo Ann was a member of the Eastern Star. Left to cherish her memory is her two sons, Roger W. (Elizabeth) Kyle of Rockport and David A. (Stephanie) Kyle of Parkersburg; two twin grandchildren Justin and Jordan Kyle.; four step- grandchildren, Leah Parker, Libby Cheuvront, Sarah and Jacob Boone; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William F. Kyle Jr. and one brother Robert Rogers Jr. The funeral will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 4:00 PMat Kimes Funeral Home, 521-5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Kara Proffit of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Evergreen North Cemetery.Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
