Jean Statler Wilson

Jean Statler Wilson, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away February 22, 2016 at Eagle Pointe. She was born June 14, 1926 at Ritchie County WV, a daughter of the late Omar Statler and Michie Virginia Elder Knopp. Jean was a licensed minister in the Apostolic Church, had been a private duty nurse and worked at Public Debt as a key punch opeartor. Survivors include a sister Maybelle Reeder of Parkersburg and host of nieces nephews and extended family. in addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband James Wilson, two sons Michael Eugene Smith and William Richie Smith, a brother Jim Sims, and a sister Evelyn Greenleaf. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Monday February 29, 2016 at Kimes Funeral Home 521 5th St Parkersburg with Rev. Jim Sims officiating, the family will greet visitors from noon unitl 2 pm at the funeral Home. Memorial donations should be forwarded to the Alzheimers Assoc.
