Jean Eleanor Butcher

Jean Eleanor Butcher, 93, of Parkersburg passed away peacefully on May 2, 2019 at Ohio Valley Health Care.She was born January 17, 1926 in Wood County to the late Thomas Jethro and Ella Myrtle Sines Swain.She was a member of Stephenson United Methodist Church, a 1944 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a Homemaker. Left to cherish her memory is her three sons, Robert S. (Mary) Butcher of Coshocton, Ohio, Ronald W.Butcher and Michael L. (Sharon) Butcher all of Parkersburg, WV, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Cyrus Butcher, three brothers and five sisters. There will be a private Graveside Service at the convenience of the family at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.There will be no visitation.Donations may be made to S. W.
