Janet Watson

Janet L. Watson, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away Monday January 6, 2014 at Eagle Pointe.She was born at Pine Grove in Wetzel County a daughter of the late Francis W. (Pete) and Ruth L. Loveall Watson. Janet worked in the cafeteria of Parkersburg Catholic High School for eighteen years and was a member of Stout Memorial U.M. Church. She is survived by one sister, Carole Woody and her husband Bill of Parkersburg; three nieces, Ann Ruckman of Montgomery, WV, Susan Groves of Ripley, WV and Janet Brooks and husband Dr. Greg Brooks of Hickory, NC; several cousins, including Dr. Ed Watson of New Martinsville, WV. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Kurt Busiek officiating.Graveside services will follow at 2:30 P.M. in the Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until time of service.
