J. FRANK PRYOR Frank Pryor, 90, of Vienna, WV departed this life on March 13, 2018 in Parkersburg, WV.He was born February 4, 1928, the son of the late John Raleigh and Iva Barnhart Pryor. Frank was educated in Wood County Schools beginning at Stapleton (a one room school) and graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1946.He excelled in Vocational Wood Trades.After graduation, he worked for Corning Glass Works in various departments and serving as Director and VP of The Employee Credit Union. Frank was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and served as a Trustee. He enjoyed singing in the choir.He was a member of the Corning Retirees Club and the Pioneer Antique Car Club.Frank had many hobbies, and his favorites were cars and antique clocks.Earlier in life, he enjoyed bowling and roller skating.He loved the outdoors, hiking in the woods, working in his yard and raising flowers.He enjoyed traveling and toured the Holy Land, Switzerland, Germany and Russia, just to name a few. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ten siblings.He is survived by four generations of nephews and nieces.Many who knew him will remember him for his wit, his sense of humor and generosity.He will surely be missed. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Chuck Ferrell officiating.Burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at 10 a.m. on Saturday prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.kimesfuneralhome.com
