James A. Piggott, 80, of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away May 18, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born January 27, 1936 in Parkersburg to Arthur “Bud” and Lottie Atkinson Piggott. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Roberta “Jean” Riddle Piggott; children, Anita Sampson (Roger), Tammie Harris McGarvey, Ronald Piggott (Misty), and Donald Piggott, all of Parkersburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers; and four sisters. Jim was a bricklayer by trade. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, NASCAR, and football. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, James “Jimmy” Piggott Jr and Randall “Randy” Lee Piggott; two grandsons, Douglas Harris and Ernie Sutphin; and brother, Jerry Piggott, all of Parkersburg. Per Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later time by the family.
