JAMES “HOWARD” KNAPP James “Howard” Knapp, 87, of Belleville, WV passed away August 31, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born December 27, 1929 in Huntington, WV to the late Rev. Charles G. and Hazel Harmon Knapp.He was employed at the WV Dept. of Highways as a Mechanic, was a Wood County School Bus Driver and a life-long Dairy Farmer.He was a member of Modern Woodman, a Board Member of the Belleville Homecoming and a Member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife, Kledyth Knapp, two sons, Caroll (Wilma) Knapp of Granville, Ohio, and Greggory (Mary Ann) Knapp of Belleville, WV, his sister, Alice (Al) Kyer of Parkersburg, WV and sister-in-laws, Edith (Bob) Powell of Columbus, OH, Bonnie (Tom) Lyons of Parkersburg, Lura Emerick of Parkersburg and Cloris Struthers of Vienna, WV, five grandchildren, Jeromy (Rebecca) Knapp, Justin (Tessa) Knapp,Eric Knapp, Lisa (Jimmy) Wilcoxen, Sarah (Zach) Burgess, great-grandchildren, Joshua and Makayla Knapp,Isabella and Jenna Wilcoxen, Riley and Sophia Burgess, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Allen, Robert, Vernon and Dale Knapp, and brothers-in-law, Frank Enoch, Darrell Buckley and Ogden Buckley. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Randy Dornan officiating.Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will also be on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
