Iris Esther McCrady, 72, of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her residence.Mrs. Mc Crady was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Ira E. and Pauline Sanders McConnell. Iris was a 1960 graduate of Parkersburg High School and received her MBA from Ohio University.She retired after forty eight years of service to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital and served as Vice President of Operations.Mrs. McCrady was a member of the American College's of Healthcare Executives, Medical Administrators, and Oncology Pathologists.She was an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.She had served on the Board of Director's of the American Cancer Society, Tri-State Red Cross Blood Services, Hospice of Parkersburg, Local Chapter American Red Cross, and Camden Clark Ambulance Service.She served on the 911 Advisory Board and local Planning Commission.She was a member of the Allohak Boy Scout Council and had served as Vice Chairman of the Annual Boy Scout Fundraising Dinner.Iris was a member of the WV Democratic Women and was elected to the Democratic Executive Committee.She attended the Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Jackie D. McCrady II; two grandchildren, Bradley and Jamie Barrett; one brother, Earl Mc Connell of Washington, WV.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. McCrady; one son, Jamie Allen McCrady; one sister, Ada Weaver. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Tom Butterfield officiating. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday and one hour prior to service on Friday.Services will conclude with interment in the Sunset memory Gardens.
