Irene Conger

Irene Conger, 87 ofVienna passed away at her home on September 11, 2016. She was born December 28, 1928 in Calhoun County a daughter of the late Joseph Hall and Allie Whystell Hall Butler.She was a member of the church of Christ and attended the North-End Congregation.She worked as an Aide for the Mid Ohio Valley Home Health and also worked for Johns Manville.She enjoyed gardening, was an excellent seamstress and also loved reading, going to the Friday Night Gospel Sings and singing at Love and Care. She is survived by two sons, Charles “Chuck” (Tracey) Conger of Williamsburg, VA and Samuel D. (Cindy) Conger of Mississippi, one sister, Arlene McDonald, five grandchildren, Dallas Todd Conger, Heather Nicole Roop, Serena Zeedyk, Samantha Conger and Daniel Conger and five great-grandchildren, and her cat, Izzy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the North End church of Christ with Evangelist John Rockhold, III officiating.A Gathering for visitors will be from Noon until 1 p.m. at the Church also on Friday. A very special thanks to her niece, Shirley Rader, for her care and compassion over the years.
