Homer L. Wilson

Homer Lee Wilson, 86, of Parkersburg passed away March 23, 2020 at his residence.Homer was born February 26, 1934 at Stillwell, Wood County, a son of the late Clarence Charles and Elva Duskey Wilson. He was a member of Jefferson Baptist Temple, Mt. Olivet Lodge 3, AF & AM, a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and Nemesis Temple of Shrine.Homer retired as a mechanic with Elkem Metals.He also, was a self-employed businessman with various interests including residential rentals. Those remaining to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Vicky M. Nichols (Toney) of Parkersburg and Lisa D. Wilson of Parkersburg; one son, Ernest Grady (Becky) of Parkersburg; one brother, Robert J. Wilson of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Amanda Ross, Casey Nichols and Corey Wilson and two great-grandchildren. Because of health concerns with the coronavirus pandemic, traditional public visitation and services were not observed. His body was laid to rest in the Evergreen North Cemetery.The Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg was honored to assist the Wilson Family with arrangements.
