Helen Louise Milhoan

Helen Louise Milhoan, 90, of Vienna, W.Va. was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Eagle Pointe. She was born November 29, 1925 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Paul and Elta Sayre Highsmith. Mrs. Milhoan was a 1944 graduate of Parkersburg High School and attended Mt. State College.She had been employed at Corning Glass Works and United Bank, formerly Parkersburg National Bank.She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Stevan J. Milhoan, M.D. and his wife, Kimuel, of Vienna; three grandchildren, Alec, Whitney and Brielle Milhoan; and four step-grandchildren, Joel, Andrew and Lance Suder and Mackenzie Easter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Carl Milhoan in 2004; her sister, Eugenia Badgley; and her brother, Jasper Highsmith. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg.Pastor David Easter will officiate and interment will be in the Otterbein Cemetery, Jackson County, W.Va.The family will receive friends from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
