Helen Kay Mcintyre

Helen Kay McIntyre, 82, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, a daughter of the late Chester and Addlee Pruitt Strickland.

Helen was a devoted Christian and a member of the Sunrise Church of Christ. She lived a life of joy and shared unconditional love with everyone she knew. Her pastimes included counting cross-stitch, sewing, and reading.

Her memory will be cherished by her loved ones including her husband, Wesley McIntyre; daughter, Kim Rollins (John) of Missouri; son, Larry Dale Davis of Texas; stepdaughter, Wendy Moize (Tim) of Iowa; stepson, Patrick McIntyre (Kelissa) of Maryland; brother, Mickey Strickland of Texas; two granddaughters, Casey and Lauren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Smith and one brother, Rex Strickland.

Helen had recorded her wishes with her family and in keeping her final requests there will be a celebration of her life in the spring. Service details are pending and will be announced once finalized.
