Helen Mae "Sis" Hissam

Helen Hissam, 95, of Vienna, passed away April 18, 2019 at Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg. She was born at Hacker Valley, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Elmer and Georgia Duffy Cowger. She lived in Vienna since 1948 and was a loyal member of Vienna Baptist Church. She is survived by her two nephews, Kevin McGinnis (Gail) and Dennis Cowger (Lisa); niece, Denise Cowger Vallo; great-nephew, Brent Cowger; and two great-nieces, Brooke Cowger and Jamie Vallo, all of Vienna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hissam; brother, Paul Cowger; and sister, Irene McGinnis. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Chapel of Peace, at the convenience of the family. No services will be held.
