Harvey Amos Wigal, 97, formerly of Belleville, WV passed away January 28, 2018 at Wyngate Senior Living Community.He was born April 15, 1920 in Belleville to the late Charles Okey and Eunice Amos Wigal.He was a Foreman with DuPont for 35 years, was a Merchant Marine in WWII, a member of Mt. Olivet Lodge #3, The Shriner’s and Modern Woodmen. He is survived by a son, Gary (Grace) Wigal of Morgantown, WV and a daughter, Peggy (Charles) Heater of Belpre, Ohio, three grandchildren, Charles J. (Wendy) Heater, Mark N. (Kristen) Wigal and Karen R. Vilas, and four great-grandchildren, Carlie Rae Heater, Peyton LeAnn Heater, Alexa Grace Wigal and Addison Ann Wigal. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Alene Wigal, in 2007, a daughter, Kimmie Sue Wigal, one brother, Charles J. Wigal and three sisters, Christine Butten, Evelyn Lewis and Mary J. Wigal. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Jason Spade officiating.Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4 pm. to 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or The Salvation Army at 570-5th St., Parkersburg, WV 26101.
