Harry Coleman Mays

Harry Coleman Mays, 65, of Parkersburg passed away August 1, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1954 in Parkersburg, and is the son of the late Thomas Coleman Mays and Kathleen Morris Mays. Harry enjoyed working on cars and lawnmowers, his family, he loved animals and especially cats and was always good to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is survived by three brothers, Steve Mays (Shelia), Carroll Mays, and Danny Mays all of Parkersburg; one sister, Teresa Mays of Parkersburg; one brother in law, Bill Backus of Larkmead; and several nieces and nephews including one special nephew he helped raise Joshua Mays (Mindy). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Mary Backus and a sister in law Tandra Mays. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521-5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Plyburn officiating.
