Hanna Adaline Nestor, 89, of Parkersburg passed away January 24, 2017 at her residence.She was born December 4, 1927 in Belington, WV a daughter of the late Eugene Kirk and Sadie Heavener Ware.She was a pioneer in the real estate business in the Mid Ohio Valley, having owned and operated Nestor Realtors for many years.She was a faithful member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, but her greatest joy was her family whom she devoted her life to. She is survived by her two sons, Jerry (Charlotte) Nestor of Vienna and Tom Nestor of Elkins, WV, two daughters Patty (Joe) Smith of Little Hocking, Ohio and Kathy Marchal of Parkersburg, fourteen grandchildren, Kris, Tami, Melissa, Sarah, James Tyler, Jason, Tate, Sam, Andy, V. J., Corey, Zane, and Addie, several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and one sister, Hope Chambers of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Nestor, one son, John K. “Tack” Nestor, four grandchildren, John K. Nestor, III, Thomas Jackson Nestor, Matthew Joseph Smith and Blair Collins Updike, one brother, E. K. Ware, and two sisters, Dorothy Marshall and Janet Ware. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, Parkersburg with Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga, V.F., Celebrant offand burial following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.Visitation will be on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg. The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and her loving caregivers, Marie Modesitt, Jan Samples and Myrtle B. Martinelli, who made it possible for her to remain in her home and a special thank you to Grace Master for her friendship and spiritual support.
