Gregory Geron Lyons

Gregory Geron Lyons, 65, of Parkersburg passed away on August 11, 2020. He was born on September 15, 1954 in Parkersburg, he is the son of the late Robert and Joan Eddy Lyons. Greg was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Green Bay Packers, reading, collecting currency and being around his family and people. Left behind to cherish his memory, is his wife, Oleta “Peach” Brand Lyons; two sons, Randy Holbert (Gayle) of Monroe, GA and Mike Holbert (Kathy) of Vienna; a brother and sister, Derek Lyons (Patty) of Lubeck and Gypsy Wright (Dave) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Meagan Cooper (Chance), Erin Holbert, Tyler Holbert (Ginnie) and Kayla Holbert (Nathan) and Sean Gearhart; great grandchildren, Harrison, Kennedy and Ava; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM at Kimes Funeral Home 521 5th St. Parkersburg, WV. Masks and social distancing are required.A private family service will take place at the convenience of the family and burial will be at Pond Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
