Grace E. Whitecotton

Grace E. Whitecotton, 89, of Vienna, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Eagle Pointe.She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Mearl and Bessie King Carpenter. Mrs. Whitecotton was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Mountain State College.She served as a purchasing clerk for the former Owen-Illinois Co. in Vienna and was a member of St. John U.M. Church in Vienna.Grace especially enjoyed bowling and attending live on stage theatrical performances. She is survived by her son, Charles E. Whitecotton and wife Kim of Vienna.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Whitecotton in 2000. A funeral service will be conducted 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Norman Butler officiating.Interment will be in the Evergreen South Cemetery at the convenience of the family.Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until time of services at 6:00 P.M.
