George "Bud" Mcafee

George “Bud” McAfee, 66, of Vincent, Ohio passed away October 28, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born March 27, 1950 to the late George and Zita Shanahan McAfee, Sr.He was a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church and worked in Maintenance at Energizer.He was a Sharpshooter in the U. S. Army in Vietnam and also a Chaplain. He helped everyone in any way that he could.He liked collecting salvageables and fixing them He is survived by his wife, Deborah McAfee of Vincent, Ohio, one son Anthony McAfee of Vincent, two step-sons, Jon Terrell of Parkersburg and Jason (Kacey) Terrell of Pt. Pleasant, one foster son, Eric (Rose) Becket of Parkersburg, two daughters, Sarah McAfee and Rose McAfee and one step-daughter, Diennetta (Skylar) Richards all of Vincent, and seven grandchildren.Also surviving are two brothers, Fran (Arneris) McAfee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Michael McAfee of North Carolina, two sisters, Dede (William) Cael of Delray Beach, FL, and Rosemary Collette of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant son, Theodore McAfee and a grandson, Braydon Terrell. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521-5th St., Parkersburg with Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga as Celebrant.Military Rites will be conducted.Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
