Gary Lyle Garretson

Gary L. Garretson, 72, of Little Hocking, Ohio passed away February 11, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born December 2, 1947 in Parkersburg to the late Hubert and Juanita Blankenship Garretson.He worked as an Ironworker for Local Union 787 and attended WV Institute of Technology.He had previously worked at Matheny Motors and was an avid motorcycle rider enjoying riding his Harley out west which was also his favorite destination. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Michele, daughter, Kristie Culbertson of Kent, Ohio and step-sons, Eric Stone of Barboursville, WV and Brian (Laura) Stone of Bixley, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Carlen, Logan, John Michael, Christopher, Corey, Jerry Curtis, Elliott and Archer, a sister, Terri (Ray) Moore of High Point, NC, several cousins and a special cousin, Pamela Daniel. There will be a Gathering of Friends and Family on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV.
