Gary Allen Collins

Gary Allen Collins, Sr., 77, of Parkersburg passed away August 14, 2016 at Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 9, 1938 in Wood County a son of the late Howard L. and Reta Richards Collins.He was employed at Parkersburg Delivery Services and Mullen Motors.He served in the Army Reserve and loved singing at various churches in the community and also spent his time fishing. He is survived by one son, Al Collins, of Parkersburg, a sister, Hazel Esham of Parkersburg, and one granddaughter, Amber Collins. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Sargent Collins, a daughter Brenda Collins and an infant daughter, Tamara. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Kimes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating and burial following at Evergreen North Cemetery.Visitation will be on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
