Gary M. Bumgardner

Gary M. Bumgardner, 67, loving father and brother, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation.He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Harold M. and Mary Louise Eddy Bumgardner. Gary retired as a mechanic from Dupont after thirty years of service and was actively involved in 4-H and the Wood County Fair Board. He was a Christian, an avid outdoorsman and especially loved all animals. He is survived by two daughters, Erin S. Bumgardner and fiancée Mike Walter of Parkersburg and Megan S. Bumgardner of Denver, Colorado; one son, John C. Bumgardner and wife Becca of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota; two sisters, Kitty Varner of Parkersburg and Janet Gaffney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday at King Knob Cemetery in Ritchie County with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating.The family will receive friends at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday.
