Garry L. Law, 74, of Parkersburg, passed away August 6, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center.Garry was born June 21, 1945 at Cox's Mills, Gilmer County, a son of the late Leon B. and Myrtle Ann Swick Law. Garry was a graduate of Gilmer County High School and was employed at the former Walker Parkersburg.He was an Army veteran having served multiple tours in both Korea and Vietnam.Garry enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and playing the guitar. Surviving family members include his wife, Beverly L. Moreland Law; one daughter, Debra Ann Law of Parkersburg; one son, David P. Butcher and companion Dott Moss of Wheeling; two brothers, Terry Law of Parkersburg and Mitchell Law of Vienna; one granddaughter, Taya Yasmine Harper and one great-grandchild, Daylen Scott Harper.In addition to his parents, Garry was preceded in death by one brother, Willard Ray Law and one great-grandson, Kalum Austin Butcher A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Old German Lutheran Cemetery near Mountwood Park with Terry Law ll as celebrant. No visitation will be conducted.Due to the many units of blood required to maintain Garry's life, the family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Red Cross blood donor program.
