Frank D. Giberson

Giberson, Sr., 72, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Willows Center, Parkersburg. Mr. Giberson was born in Fairmont, W.Va., a son of the late Robert A. and Frances M. Engroff Giberson, Sr. Frank began his working career with Giberson Brothers Plumbing & Heating and continued as a pipe fitter with Local 341 in Lancaster, Pa. and later, Local 520 in Harrisburg, Pa. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his wife, Sonja M. Schaeffer Giberson; two daughters, Connie F. Brooks (Kerry) of Owensboro, Ky. and Karen L. Giberson (Craig) of Bridgeport, W.Va.; one son, Frank D. Giberson (Lisa) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Jane Middlefield in Oklahoma; one brother, Robert Giberson of Willowstreet, Pa.; six grandchildren, Jim Brooks, Brence Brooks, Kayla Winters, Drew Brooks, Cody Dillon and Brandi Dillon; and two great-granddaughters, Autumn Brooks and Hadley Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Giberson and one son, Scott Myers. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg. Pastor Mike Lamb will officiate and interment will follow in the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
