Frances Irene Buchanan

Frances Irene Buchanan, 65, of Parkersburg, passed away unexpectedly at Camden Clark Medical Center Emergency Room on Sept. 18, 2015. She was born Sept. 10, 1950, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Carl and Evelynn Louise VanMeter Cox. Frances was a homemaker who loved her family. She is survived by her Lifetime Partner of 30 years, James Hall; one son, Shane Buchanan of Parkersburg; three daughters, Katherine Buchanan, Melissa Hall of Mineral Wells and Teresa Hall of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Eddy (Nancy) Cox and one sister, Sandy Cox, both of Waverly, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Lott, Ricky Cline, Tiffany Snyder, Joseph Scott Walker and Blake Alexander Cole; and one great grandchild, Payton Snyder. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one brother, Leonard Cox. The Family will greet visitors from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg.
