Evelyn M. Kinney

Evelyn M. Kinney, 81, of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.Evelyn was born June 6, 1936 at Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Russell M. and Dorotha Pearl Atkinson Keller. Evelyn had been employed with the former Union Insulation, Uptowner Inn and retired as cook with Wood County Schools.She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed decorating for the holidays, dancing, boating, gardening, the outdoors and activities with her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Sherri Sterling (Conrad) of Parkersburg, Crystal Horner (Jeff) of Parkersburg and Amy Sutton (John) of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Rick Kinney (Teresa) of Clarksville, TN and Phillip Kinney (Gaila) of Florence, SC; two sisters-in-law, Edith Keller of Parkersburg and Irene Keller of Belpre; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death, in 2013, by her husband Rex Allen Kinney; a sister, Ella Louise Wilson; and two brothers, William Keller and Russell Edward Keller. Funeral services will be 11 A.M., Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg.Pastor Jon Lands will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 P.M. Sunday, April 15, 2018 and one hour before services, Monday at the funeral home.
