Eva Smith

Eva "Marion" Smith, 85, of Belleville, WV passed away at Muskingham Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beverly, OH on July 24, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Okly Ellis and Alonzo Gorrell. Marion was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She belonged to the Quilter Guild of Belleville and was a volunteer at Blennerhassett Island on Fridays. She also participated in the Belleville Homecomings. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Rick Smith (Deidra) of Stockport, OH and Jim Smith (Cheryl) of Washington, WV and four grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Her one brother Gene Gorrell of Parkersburg and a sister Patsy Pierce of Philadelphia, PA. She preceded in death by her husband Glen Smith, daughter Viki Aguilar, twin sister Marie Wilson and brother Eldon Gorrell. A private cremation has taken place per request of her wishes and there will be no services at this time. Kimes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
