Eston Hinzman, 97, gained his reward in heaven on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.He was born at Berlin, WV a son of the late Clete and Waite Mae Gainer Hinzman. He is survived by his children, James Hinzman, Diana Morrison, Darold Hinzman and Cheryl Hays; grandchildren, Allen and Wilma Hinzman, Kimberly and Jeffery Morris, Michael Hinzman, Timothy Hinzman, Brandy Bunner, Philip and Patsy Crislip, Scheena Hinzman, Shelley Hays, Sarah Hays, Sharon and Wayne Farmer, John and Angie Hays, Larry Allen, and Britteny Hays; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna, grandson, David Hays, one sister Violet and one brother Leland. Mr Hinzman accumulated twenty years of military service in the Army, Air Force and Army Reserve and was a veteran of World War II.He was a member of Spoken Word Fellowship in Ripley and is remembered also for his maintenance work at Lakeview Estates. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Vaughan Funeral Home with Reverend Tim McKemy, pastor of Spoken Word Tabernacle, officiating. The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.Interment will follow in the Evergreen North Cemetery with full military rites by Post 15 American Legion, Parkersburg.
