Ernest Elphage Nolet

Ernest Elphage Nolet, 89, of Parkersburg, West Virginia and also Lakeland, Florida passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Cedar Grove Assisted Living Center near Parkersburg. Mr. Nolet was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Irenee and Delia Nolet.His wife, Helen Louise Ogden Nolet, preceded him in death. Mr. Nolet was a Principal Chemical Engineer, having retired from FMC, an inorganic chemical production company.He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Moose Club, Elks Club and the American Legion. He is survived by one son, James E. "Jim" Nolet and wife Debbie of Parkersburg; one sister, Rita Ducheaneux of Lawrence, MA and three grandchildren. Mr. Nolet's cremains will be placed in the family niche of the columbarium of the Florida National Cemetery with his wife Helen. There is no visitation or services planned at this time. The Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements. The family requests no flowers or gifts.
