Elvira B. Ludford

Elvira Bianca DeLuca Ludford, 99, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Eagle Pointe Care Center. Mrs. Ludford was born Sept. 26, 1917 at Santa Lucia di Serino, Italy, a daughter of the late Don Donato DeLuca and Donna Camilla Maria DeLuca. She retired as a travel agent in Trumbull, Connecticut and later worked at the Senior Center.She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed her many travels to Italy.She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Trumbull. Mrs. Ludford is survived by her son, Bruce W. Ludford of Parkersburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Ludford in 2006 and by her daughter, Pamela Ludford, two sisters and one brother. Private funeral services will at the convenience of the family.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg.
