Ellen Mae Payne

Ellen Mae Payne, 88, of Mineral Wells, WV passed away July 13, 2018 at the Parkersburg Care Center. She was born December 15, 1929 in Gay, WV to the late Mark Keetley and Maggie Alice Anderson Waybright. She was a member of the Limestone Methodist Church and was a Homemaker. She belonged to the Rockport Homemakers Club and was a Ladies Aide at the church, loved gardening, painting, spending time with family and was an avid quiltmaker. Left to cherish her memory are four sons, Dale Marvin Payne, Roger Keith (Brenda) Payne, Stephen Mark (Debbie) Payne and Todd Stuart (Zeta) Payne, nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, brothers, Delbert Waybright and Russell Waybright and sisters, Dorothy Strickland and Wilma Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Marvin Payne, three sisters and one brother. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Reverend Everett Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Reamer Hill Cemetery in Clendenin, WV. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
