Ellen Elaine Green

Ellen Elaine Green, 92, of Parkersburg passed away January 6, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1924 in Kingwood, WV to the late John and Nora Friend Sisler.She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, did babysitting in her home for years and was a homemaker. Surviving is her son, Roy Green, Jr. of Princeton, WV, two daughters, Becky Bryan of Parkersburg and Shirley Bailey of Williamstown, WV, 9 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, one brother, Frank (Martha) Sisler of Newburg, WV and one sister, Sadie Turner of Clarksburg, WV. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Roy Green, two brothers, Billy and Homer Sisler, two sisters, Blanche Buchannon, Mary Sisler, one grandchild, Roy Green, III, and two great-grandchildren, Ann Marie Carpenter and April Lynn Bryan. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 5p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV with Evangelist John Rockhold, III officiating.
