Elizabeth Darlene Hayes

Elizabeth Darlene Hayes, 74, of Friendly, W.Va., passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 24, 1944 in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Mildred M. (Antal) Robinson. Darlene was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Robert Hayes; one daughter, Jodie Hayes of Ringwood, N.J.; one son, Jerry Robert Hayes, II of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Pamela "Penny" Bowie of Arvilla, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Alexis and Gabriella Hayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Cooper and Madge Pittman. It was Darlene's request that there be no visitation or funeral service.The Vaughan Funeral Home & Crematory, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
