Elijah Nevan Clark, 14, of Walker, WV went to his heavenly home on September 24, 2018 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.He was born March 7, 2004 in Parkersburg, WV to Roy and Karen Carpenter Clark, II.He was a student at Hamilton Jr. High School and played trumpet in the band.He was a member of Guild Builders doing several musical productions, loved singing and playing keyboard, pop music, was an avid swimmer, and led singing at Sunrise church of Christ where he was a member. Eli loved making people laugh.Even at his most trying times he still had his tremendous sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Caleb and Josiah Clark, both of the home, Maternal Grandparents, Danny (Tennie) Carpenter, Sr. and Paternal Grandparents, Roy (Barbara) Clark, Sr., many special aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved. He is preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents, Herb and Ruby Fearington and Maternal Great-grandmother, Helen Hendershot. Eli had two favorite sayings which were “I Love You More” and “A Stranger is only a friend you’ve never met.” Friends and Family are invited to the Funeral Service on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Camden Avenue church of Christ with Evangelist Elvis Galbreath officiating.Burial will follow at the German Lutheran Cemetery, Walker, WV.Visitation will be on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. also at the church.
