Eleanor Grace Kirk

Eleanor Grace Loscar Kirk, 79, of Parkersburg, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was born July 7, 1942 in Lead Mine, Tucker County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John Joseph and Olive Marie Wiles Loscar. Eleanor was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She read her bible every day and enjoyed painting, writing and caring for her plants. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Romie Lee Kirk; one daughter, Carole Byrd; two sons, David Kirk (Penny) and Michael Kirk (Tanya); fourteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by one son, William "Bill" Kirk and two daughters, Pamela Kirk and Deanna Carver. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
