Edward Rhodes

Edward Franklin Rhodes, 63, of Marietta passed away February 22, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 30, 1956 and is the son of the late Irene Ellis Rhodes. He had worked as a laborer for many years. Ed, Eddy, or “Ho Ho or Santa” as some of you may know his as enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, music, camping, taking road trips, or drives through the country, and loved to tell stories. Left behind to cherish his memory, is his life companion of 30 years, Nickie Eader of Marietta; step children, Rhonda Eader, Billie Jo Davis, Dennis “Bub” Eader (Jamie) all of Marietta, Larry Eader of (Michele) of Parkersburg and William Kuykendall of Lexington, OH; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and sister, Kathy Gregory.. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Rhodes. A private viewing will take place at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg.
