Edsol W. "Ed" Talbott

Ed Talbott, 79, of Washington, West Virginia passed away peacefully at home. He was the son of Homer and Nellie Heckert Talbott of Linn, West Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Air Force right out of high school. Upon his return home he married Barbara Kirkpatrick. They were married over 55 years and had two sons that he was so proud of, Danny Talbott (Lorrie) and Mark Talbott (Carla), all of Belleville, West Virginia; his grandson, Alan Talbott, was the light of his eye; and he had two granddaughters, Sarah Ault of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Haley McPeek of Belpre, Ohio. Ed is also survived by one brother, David Talbott, of Troy, West Virginia and nephew, Matthew Talbott, of Kentucky. He retired from Elkem Metals, Marietta, Ohio, where he was a machinist. Ed enjoyed flea markets, restoring antique cars and just tinkering in the garage. He loved his family & friends and sharing memories with them. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice and our wonderful neighbors. There will be a private service for the family.
