Douglas "Doug" Wayne Congrove

Douglas "Doug" Wayne Congrove, 57, of Waverly, W.Va., passed away suddenly January 23, 2016, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Emergency Room. He was born January 8, 1959 in Parkersburg, a son of Ernest Congrove of Waverly, W.Va. and the late Evelyn Ann Kinney Congrove. He was a Protestant by Faith and was a self employed contractor and was a U. S. Army Veteran and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Sean D. Congrove of Parkersburg; five brothers, David Congrove of Walker, W.Va., Dennis Congrove of Waverly, W.Va., Dale (Sylvia) Congrove of Newport News, Va., Dwight (Angela) Congrove of Parkersburg and Duane (fiancee, Teresa Shelton) Congrove of Parkersburg; one sister, Debra McClain of Scranton, Pa; and two grandchildren, Evelyn and Willa Congrove. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, with the Rev. Dewayne Stutler officiating.
