Doris Jean Williams, 67, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, went to be with her Lord Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmer Williams and Marie Yucheck Harter.
Doris enjoyed gardening and was a true “people person”. She was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist and she loved everyone, she adored her family and treasured the memories of moment she shared with others.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Catherine Williams; grandchildren, Cynthia Clemons, Trenton Williams, Dustin and Andrew Whipkey; great-granddaughter, Winter Rose Devaughn; brother, Stevie Harter (Darlene); several adopted grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her son, EJ Williams; sisters, Squeak Bell and Marsha Williams; brothers, Tony Williams and JR Williams; and nephew, Lil Steven Harter.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
