Donna Jean Roush

Donna Jean Roush, 78, of Rockport, W.Va. passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1937 at Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late James H. and Fanny Mae VanHoose Arnold. Donna had worked in security as a government contractor and was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Winnings (Lisa Olsen) of Chesapeake, Va.; four sons, Michael Blankenship (Charloette) of Rockport, W.Va., Mark Blankenship (Sherri) of La Grange, Ky., Matthew Blankenship (Darlene) of Leon, W.Va. and David Blankenship (Dusty) of Port Orchard, Wash.; a sister, Sue Deel of Apple Grove, W.Va.; a brother, David Arnold (Kim) of Waverly, W.Va.; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; an aunt, Opal VanHoose of West Union,Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Blankenship. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg with David Arnold and Reverend Chuck Ferrell officiating.Services will conclude with burial at Pond Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.A luncheon will follow at the Big Tygart United Methodist Church.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
